Warfield Turf are also able to supply a drought and shade resistant turf, known as RTF Turf (Rhizomatous Tall Fescue).

The RTF Rhizomes are stronger and more prolific than other rhizomatous species, such as red fescues. Because of its rooting depth capabilities of 1.5metres (red fescues are typically 15-20cm) RTF will withstand water logging in addition to drought. A more coarse looking turf, RTF has consistent and excellent colour throughout the summer and winter and flourishes in all soil types.

RTF has wear tolerance similar to that of perennial ryegrass, high tensile strength, rapid establishment, and with its No 1 feature of self-repairing, is the solution many groundsmen, landscapers and gardeners have been searching for.
